Transport packaging

The packaged goods and the shipping route determine the design of transport packaging. The state of the art is a substructure (floor) made of solid wood, side walls and lid made of plywood or OSB with cladding and lid squares made of solid wood.

There are always applications for boxes that are made entirely of solid wood. Especially if they are made from technically dried wood and have undergone IPPC treatment, they are suitable for many applications in national and international shipping.

Often underestimated, often done wrong. A container is a means of transport and not packaging. In this respect, it is not only the correct construction of the packaging that is crucial, but also the fastening of the packaged goods in the container or on the flat.

Wooden saddles are typically used to secure round parts for storage and/or transportation. When designing, the weight of the packaged goods, the required support surface, the ground clearance and the avoidance of unwanted movement of the packaged goods on the saddle should be taken into account.
