Storage and transport saddles

Wooden saddles are typically used to secure round parts for storage and/or transportation. When designing a saddle, the weight of the packaged goods, the required support surface, the ground clearance and the avoidance of unwanted movement of the packaged goods on the saddle should be taken into account. As simple as a saddle looks at first glance, construction and production can be tricky in individual cases.
