Everything comes together in the hapack logistics center: This is where customs documents and packing lists for the transport packaging are created, appointments and handovers are planned in detail, containers are checked for suitability and the handling of container jams is coordinated and monitored. The final inspection also takes place here before the actual shipment, because many guidelines must be observed on the different transport routes: compliance with global import regulations for solid wood, consideration of the current regulations for air freight, use of desiccants and corrosion protection, compliance with the guidelines for the transport of dangerous goods...
